Privacy Policy

This site is run by me, Mohit Kumawat. I keep the data side of things deliberately simple — this page explains exactly what I collect, why, who else touches it, and what you can ask me to do with it.
1. What I collect
Newsletter. When you subscribe to The Slow Draft, I collect your email address.
Workshop registration. When you register for a free workshop, I collect your name, email address, and WhatsApp number.
Anything you send me. If you email me or write to me, I keep that correspondence so I can reply.
Basic technical data.Like almost every website, my host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and running. I don't use these to personally identify you.
2. What I use it for
To send you The Slow Draft (if you subscribed); to send the details and joining link for a workshop you registered for, by email or WhatsApp; and to reply to you. I do not use your details for advertising, and I never sell them.
3. Who else sees it
A few trusted services process this data on my behalf, under their own privacy terms:
- MailerLite — handles the newsletter and its emails.
- Google — workshop registrations are stored in a Google Sheet.
- Vercel — hosts the website.
That's the whole list — no advertisers, no data brokers.
4. Cookies & tracking
I don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site loads only what it needs to work. If I ever add analytics, I'll update this page first.
5. How long I keep it
I keep your details for as long as you're subscribed, or until you ask me to remove them. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email, or email me to be taken off entirely.
6. Your choices & rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data I hold about you — just email authormohitkumawat@gmail.com and I'll sort it out. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter whenever you like.
7. Links to other sites
Some links here lead elsewhere — for example, buying Acting Righton Amazon, or my social profiles. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and I'm not responsible for how they handle your data.
8. Children
This site isn't directed at children under 16, and I don't knowingly collect their personal data.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the “last updated” date at the top.
